When buying candles, everyone always comes to the same though of wanting to make the most out of the product as possible, while always using it in either personal spaces, or communal areas. This is something simple to do, however it is still important that the information and instructions on how to do so are shared on our page.

Care instructions

General safety

Safety Information 

  • Never move a lit candle.  
  • Do not burn candles near heat sources.  
  • Avoid touching or moving the container while the candle is burning or still hot.  
  • Always burn candles within sight.  

Burning

Before Each Burn 

  • Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before lighting.  
  • Remove any wick trimmings or debris from the wax surface.  
  • Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts, curtains, and flammable materials.  

First Burn 

  • Allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface during the first burn. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the candle's life.  
  • Depending on the size of the candle, this may take 2–4 hours.  

During use and End of use

During Use 

  • Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.  
  • Keep the wax pool free from matches, wick trimmings, and other debris.  
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.  
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.  

Extinguishing Your Candle 

  • Use a candle snuffer where possible to minimise smoke.  
  • Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.  

When to Stop Burning 

  • Discontinue use when approximately 10mm of wax remains at the bottom of the container.  
  • Burning beyond this point may cause the container to overheat.
